IN-Greeley primarily works with our international neighbors who have had a refugee experience. While our name includes a much broader community, we have focused on this subgroup our first 5 years. We have chosen not to call our friends “Refugees” because this name carries with it a stigma which is neither helpful for them, nor us. For these reasons we choose to refer to our friends as International Neighbors…. who live in Greeley.
Immigrant Hope
In 2023, International Neighbors – Greeley expanded its reach through the development of a new, non-profit called, Immigrant Hope – Greeley. Our hope is that many immigrants (primarily Spanish speaking) and resettled people (refugees) will find meaningful, much needed, affordable legal assistance in dealing with their immigration issues in an environment that treats them with the compassion of Jesus, dignity and honesty as image-bearers of God. See our website for more information and details.
