About our beliefs

  • We believe that everyone is made in the image of God—consequently everyone (from every tribe & nation) is to be treated with dignity and love.
  • We believe that God’s people are called to be “for the city.”  God’s prophet Jeremiah told the people of his day that they were to “seek the welfare of the city.”  Jesus himself emphasized the second greatest command to “love our neighbor as oneself.”
  • We believe that loving relationships are a significant vehicle for the well-being of all.  We facilitate relationship building which is mutual not paternal.
  • We believe that thriving is far more than just an economic term.  Working to see others thrive (shalom) requires that we address all areas of a person’s life.  International Neighbors-Greeley networks with other organizations that desire to restore wholeness to every aspect of our neighbors’ lives.
  • We believe that ultimately shalom is found in relationship with Jesus.  We’re committed to living like Jesus in word and deed as we serve and engage our international neighbors.
  • We believe in the great commandment and great commission found in the New Testament.
